Millers' cleaners was founded on Sept. 7 1977 by Dan and Betty Miller.  Millers' Minisa located across from North high was the original Millers' location.  In 1979 the duo purchased and created Millers' Seneca Square cleaners.  1982 saw the expansion of Millers' cleaners to the east side of Wichita with Millers' Eastgate cleaners.  Millers' Seneca Square was sold in 1983 to make way for the purchase of Plaza mono-wash laundry in 1985.  After purchasing what is now Millers' Indian Hills in 1986 the Plaza mono-wash was closed and the laundry services were transferred to the Indian Hills location.  Millers' expanded to far west Wichita in 1988 with the opening of Millers' Maple & Maize.  Millers' Eastgate cleaners was moved to the Cherry Creek shopping center in 1990 creating Millers' Cherry Creek.  In an attempt to capture the suede and leather market in Wichita, Millers' Saddleback cleaners was opened in 1992 and then sold in 1993.  Millers' Central was opened in 1994 and became the primary operating plant.  After 22 years of serving the neighborhood, Millers' Minisa was closed in 2000.  Millers' Central & Webb became the 2nd east side location in 2000.  The year 2000 also saw the 2nd far west location at 21st and Maize.  A major plan to combine the operating facilities was undertaken in 2007 with the purchased of Millers' 2nd street.  The new plant became operational on July 5th 2007 at the same time Millers' Central was closed.  On August 1 of 2009 Millers' Kellogg & Greenwich opened making the 3rd East side location.  Millers' cleaners currently have 6 locations and the operations plant.      

Currently Millers' has 6 satellite locations in Wichita and the main operating plant at 2002 W. 2nd St. They employ over 30 full and part time employees including Dan's cousin Donna, his brother David and Dan and Betty's son Craig, who plans to continue running the family business well into the next generation.
